by Tim Nash
Ready to hang oil painting on stretched canvas with signature on the back.
Hefka is Hebrew for 'unclaimed fruit' any fruit that grows in the sabbatical year in which the crops would be left to furrow and nobody owned the land. If fruit grew on this land it was called Hefka.
Tim used this because he feels that's how his art feels; as if it is unclaimed fruit.
The canvas was a close up picture of a poppy that he bought at an opshop and transformed.
